All summer long it’s FUN FRIDAYS at HealthCore Clinic<\/a>! When you schedule an integrated health visit for kids on Fridays this summer, they’ll get access to tons of free games, prizes, and exciting giveaways. This is a great time to get kids caught up on health checkups, dental checkups, and make sure their mental health is good as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is an Integrated Health Visit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An integrated health visit is a comprehensive checkup for kids that includes their medical<\/a>, dental<\/a>, and behavioral health<\/a>. A health provider will give them a full medical exam, a member of the dental team will inspect their teeth, and a member of the behavioral health team will check in on their mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many Wichita kids fell behind during the COVID-19 pandemic or schedules just got too busy for parents and guardians this year. We get it<\/em><\/strong>. An integrated health visit is a perfect way to get caught up or simply “check all three boxes<\/em>” in a single visit to HealthCore Clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These checkups are a great time to get kids ready for camp and then the Fall when they go back to school. Like a Well-Child Checkup<\/a>, we will assess your child\u2019s physical and emotional development, give guidance and immunizations, and complete any needed tests. This is also a great time to talk with your healthcare provider about any concerns or questions you have about your child\u2019s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children should get checkups at ages 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1\/2 years, 3 years, and then annual visits after that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
