HealthCore Clinic was one of the first organizations to provide large-scale COVID-19 testing to the Wichita community, administering 1,723 tests over a 3-week period of time in May of 2020. Testing sites included a mobile clinic located at the Wichita State University Metroplex, located in the heart of the neighborhoods most disproportionately affected by the pandemic. HealthCore also opened a respiratory clinic and helped spearhead a safetynet system with other community health centers, such as GraceMed Health Clinic, to provide sick patients a safe environment to receive treatment at the height of the 2020 lockdown. Now, HealthCore Clinic and GraceMed Health Clinic are providing COVID-19 vaccines to the most vulnerable populations in Wichita by working together.

Working together to provide immunity in our community!

“HealthCore Clinic is honored to be working with the Mayor, Wichita City Council, Sedgwick County, and GraceMed Health Clinic to provide information and resources to all residents regarding the COVID-19 vaccines.” Stated Teresa Lovelady, President and CEO of ¡HealthCore Clinic.

Sedgwick County Commissioner Sarah Lopez stated, “The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us, especially our Latino communities and communities of color.
