The Pink Mammogram Bus is coming to HealthCore Clinic this Saturday, June 19 and you can get a free breast cancer screening. This free service is available for all women age 40-64 and no insurance is required. Appointments are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make an appointment, please call us at 316-691-0249<\/a>. Appointments are for Saturday, June 19, between 9 AM – 3 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am I at risk<\/em>?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A woman\u2019s risk of cancer increases as she ages. Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer among women in Kansas. More than 75% of breast and cervical cancers occur in women over age 50. Regular screening and prompt diagnosis can reduce illness and death from breast or cervical cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being proactive is the best approach. We strongly recommend mammograms every 1-2 years for patients ages 40-75. As well, if you notice a lump or changes in your breast, you should schedule a clinical breast exam as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
