How is integrated care different than what I’m used to?
The traditional model of medical, dental and behavioral health care is for these services to work independently. This means that you probably have to make multiple appointments at multiple locations with multiple providers. But that’s not how your body works. It’s all connected—so why shouldn’t your healthcare be? Learn more about our integrated care model.
What if I have an emergency?
For emergencies, we always recommend that you call 911. Here are symptoms to watch for:
- Any change in level of consciousness. Someone isn’t responding as normal, he/she may appear very sleepy, doesn’t speak back to you, isn’t able to follow commands, or is unconscious and you can’t wake them.
- Being extremely short of breath.
- Having chest pressure or chest pain.
- Slurred speech, weakness on one side of the body. He/she can raise one arm but are unable to raise the other.
What if I need to reach my provider after hours?
We know medical needs don’t always arise during office hours, so if you’re in need of immediate care, please call us at (316) 262-6262.
