What is an Integrated Health Visit?
An integrated health visit at HealthCore Clinic provides comprehensive care for your child. Our dedicated providers will assess your child’s physical and emotional development, give guidance and immunizations, and complete necessary tests. HealthCore’s medical team will give your child a medical exam, the dental team will inspect their teeth, and a behavioral health expert will check their mental health. This visit is also a chance to discuss, with a healthcare provider, any concerns or questions you have about your child’s development. Our comprehensive approach helps the child have the best chance of staying healthy throughout the school year.

Annual Well-Child Check Ups
An annual well-child check-up should be a part of your child’s back-to-school preparation. Well-child visits usually begin a few days after birth and continue until the child turns 18. After a child turns three years old, they should have a well-child check-up annually. During these visits, our providers assess your child’s physical and emotional development and give guidance or immunizations as needed.

Sports Physicals
Every year, athletes participating in school sports must have a sports physical completed by their medical provider before they can start practicing or competing.
During the sports physical, our providers will check your child’s overall health and evaluate any medical conditions that could affect their performance in their sport. They will assess your child’s vision and hearing and check for potential risk factors.
By completing this comprehensive evaluation, your child is ready and able to participate in the upcoming season. While a sports physical assures that every athlete is healthy and prepared, it in no way replaces the annual physical they should have with their healthcare provider.
Booster Shots and Immunizations
Parents, keeping your child up-to-date on their booster shots and immunizations is very important. Vaccines protect children from illnesses and prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Assuring your child gets all their required vaccines is one of the best ways to keep them healthy and safe.
Some vaccines and immunizations are necessary for a child to attend school or daycare. At HealthCore Clinic, we have the COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots, and many other immunizations your child might need.
Affordable Healthcare For All
Financial Assistance
At HealthCore, we understand finances can play a role in healthcare decisions. That’s why we offer financial assistance options for our patients. Most insurances and CHIP often cover an integrated health visit. We accept KanCare/Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, and private health insurance. For those without insurance, our sliding scale fees allow patients to pay what they can afford. Financial concerns should never be barriers to receiving high-quality healthcare services.
