Operation Immunization: Free Flu Vaccinations in Wichita

HealthCore Clinic is proud to participate in Operation Immunization, a community event providing free flu vaccinations at locations throughout Wichita.
Operation Immunization is organized by the APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists and supported by the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and Walgreens, with vaccinations available at HealthCore Clinic, Guadalupe Clinic and GraceMed.

Is the Flu Vaccination Free?
Yes! Flu vaccinations provided during Operation Immunization are completely free. There is no cost to receive your flu vaccine at any of the participating locations.
Do I Need an Appointment?
No appointment is needed. Simply visit one of the participating locations on Saturday, October 3, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to receive your free flu vaccination.
Why Get a Flu Vaccine?
Flu vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself and the people around you during flu season. While many people recover from the flu within several days, influenza can cause serious illness and complications, particularly for young children, older adults and people with certain health conditions.
Getting your annual flu vaccine can reduce your risk of getting sick and help reduce the severity of illness if you do get the flu. Vaccination also helps protect family members, coworkers and others in our community who may be more vulnerable to serious illness.
